Construction has begun on the next phase of T-Ports’ Lucky Bay port project with contractors beginning earthworks at the site last week, as work to complete the upcountry bunker sites nears completion. Contractors Keller (ground improvement) and Buttrose Earthmovers (earthworks) have begun port construction.

April has been productive with new milestones and an announcement, while Lucky Bay and Lock remain on track to open for grower receivals later this year. We wish all growers a safe and successful seeding and have our fingers crossed for some much-needed rain to get crops up out of the ground.

T-Ports, the company responsible for building South Australia’s first farmer and private equity partnership port at Lucky Bay on the Eyre Peninsula, is looking to expand its operations to the Yorke Peninsula, with plans for a port at Wallaroo progressing through the development application process.
