Join the T-Ports team

T-Ports grain storage general hand, Ray Coleman, is geared up for his third harvest with the T-Ports team.  Based at Lucky Bay, Ray has a wide range of responsibilities including monitoring and directing grain flow.

With our people recognised as are our greatest asset and key to our future success, we asked Ray what he loves about working with T-Ports.

“Harvest is an exciting time to be working with T-Ports. I work at Lucky Bay throughout the year on a part-time basis, but come harvest, it switches to full time.

“I have a variety of tasks, including monitoring and directing the flow of grain from trucks into storage, operating the loading machinery, and laying out and erecting the bunker tarpaulins. It’s really important we get these services right to ensure the quality of Australia’s grain exports.

“I work with a great group of people, and everyone gets on well. T-Ports also look after us well by providing good training and there is a big emphasis on safety in all aspects of their operation.

“Harvest work at T-Ports is a fantastic opportunity for people of all ages and stages of life. Plus, you get plenty of hours and earn great money!

“I get a great sense of satisfaction working in the close-knit T-Ports team to help farmers bring in their grain.

“I’m always spreading the word about how good it is!”
